Strike Back 21 military exercises taking place until 5 May

President Rumen Radev, US ambassador to Bulgaria Herro Mustafa, Defence Minister Georgi Panayotov and Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov observed the military exercise Strike Back 21 at Koren training ground near Haskovo.

800 Bulgarian troops with 210 units of military equipment, Su-25 aircraft Mi-24 and AH-Apache helicopters, as well as a tactical combat group from Greece and a light infantry platoon from Romania played out a “mechanized battalion offensive”. The aim of the Strike Back 21 maneuvers is to enhance the interoperability and training of the formations for defensive and offensive action in multinational format, the Ministry of Defence has announced.
