The CEC has suspended an order for delivery of 1,500 new voting machines for the parliamentary elections on July 11th. The "Ciela Norma" company said that they could not fulfill the order at a price lower than 7 million euros. In a letter to media the company warned that any delay leads to a risk for execution of the order at higher price.

The CEC is yet to decide how it would provide machine voting in the upcoming elections. It offered 3.3 million euros, accusing the supplier company of "wringing its hands", while the company said the CEC had not conducted a market research before the order.
