"Bulgaria has one of the most democratic constitutions, which guarantees equal rights to all Bulgarian citizens, regardless of their ethnicity. The political parties should not divide citizens on an ethnic principle. I think that the leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms Mustafa Karadayi should recall the oath he had sworn before the Bulgarian National Assembly- to observe the Constitution, which clearly states that parties cannot be formed on ethnic and religious grounds”, said Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev at a briefing with regard to the meeting between the leadership of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and high ranking officials in Turkey.
