Dams have been repaired at prices five times higher than market ones, Economy Minister Kiril Petkov said after inspecting three reservoirs in the districts of Sliven and Lovech. According to him, the dams were empty after 2. 5 million euros were spent for their repairs, carried out by the same company and at the same price.

The Minister will send all the results of the inspection of the dams to the Prosecutor's Office and added there would be a change in the policy of the department when it comes to forthcoming repairs. Meanwhile, it has become clear that the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor's Office has started work over a signal by Kiril Petkov, according to which the Pazar Dere dam, repaired for over 1.1 million euros, was also empty.
