Chief Prosecutor's office to inspect prisons in 10 cities

Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev has ordered inspections of prisons and prison dormitories in 10 Bulgarian cities. The check will focus on whether prohibited items were brought into prisons, as well as on the way home leave was given. The inspectors will also count the number of cases of complaints of violence and how many of them have been reported to the prosecutor's office. The report will be ready as soon as possible, the Prosecutor's Office reported.
