An official delegation from the Republic of North Macedonia led by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev is arriving in Bulgaria today. "We will hold talks in search of appropriate solutions that satisfy the peoples of both countries," said caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev.

According to Yanev, the agenda of the meeting is rich in topics and this time the focus will not be on the problems inherited from the previous government. Stefan Yanev hopes that the two sides will reach a position which will later be discussed in the Bulgarian parliament, for a lasting solution in the interest of European integration of all countries in the Western Balkans.
For his part, Zoran Zaev commented on the visit with the words: "If a solution is reached, it's great. If it is not achieved, it will surely be a positive step towards finding it after the formation of a government."
