“Negotiations are underway for opening more border check points with Greece to tourists, other than Kulata. I am sure that very soon – within the space of one week or several days – this problem will be resolved,” said Minister of Tourist Stela Baltova for BNT.

As to the problem with one of the leading Greek tour operators, Minister Baltova commented that she does not know what number of Bulgarians are affected.

“I sent a letter to the Greek minister of tourism last week. This is not a temporary problem but the company does not have liquidity problems, no such insinuations should be made. The Greek minister assured me that all Bulgarians accommodated there will have their holiday,” Minister Baltova said.
