Slight increase in number of newly registered Covid-19 cases for second consecutive day

94 is the number of newly registered coronavirus cases out of 13,816 tests performed in the country in the past 24 hours, a positivity rate of 0.68%, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data as of midnight show. For a second day running a slight increase is reported in both indicators.

At 7,558, the number of active cases in the country has also gone up – by 16. 741 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospital, 93 of them in intensive care. Five Covid-19 patients have died in the past day. The number of recoveries is 73, fewer than the number of new infections.

11,655 doses of vaccine have been administered in the country over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinations to 1,896,574. The number of people who are fully vaccinated is now 867,602.
