More money is needed for the development of Bulgarian archaeology. The Bulgarian scientists deserve more state support, said this country’s Vice President Iliana Yotova in her address on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Bulgarian Archaeological Institute. The National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Science (NAIM-BAS) is the successor of the Bulgarian Archaeological Institute which was founded back in 2021.

Vice President Yotova awarded the National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Science a St. St. Cyril and Methodius plaque for its exceptional contribution to Bulgarian science and the preservation and promotion of Bulgaria’s cultural heritage.
