12 year olds and younger, arriving from green list and amber list countries and territories, are allowed on Bulgarian territory without Covid-19 documents, reads an order issued by this country’s caretaker Minister of Health Stoycho Katsarov, which enters into force on July 19.

Bulgaria has put Cyprus, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Spain, Fiji and Kuwait on the travel red list.

People arriving from Russia and Portugal are admitted to Bulgaria upon presentation of a valid EU digital Covid certificate or a similar document showing a negative result of a PCR test taken up to 72 hours before arrival.

Bulgarian citizens and persons with permanent or long-term residence on the territory of Bulgaria and their family members arriving from these countries are placed under a 10-day quarantine, if they fail to present such a document.
