The black box of the Bulgarian MiG-29 which crashed near Shabla on Bulgaria's Northern Black Sea coast two months ago has not yet been sent to Russia for reading

This is stated in the written answer of the Ministry of Defence to questions from the GERB MP Hristo Gadzhev. The ministry is not responsible for why Ukraine was not preferred for reading the "black box". The report of the Military Police on the tragedy was not provided to the MP.

Lieutenant Colonel Valentin Terziev died in the incident. A report said the plane crashed after a "spatial disorientation" of the pilot. It is also stated that the firing squad commandment had assessed the maneuver risk "incorrectly" by continuing to "direct the pilot despite the high speed of the target".
