The Council for Electronic Media has opened a procedure for election of new Director General of the Bulgarian National Radio. Applicants can submit their documents until 5 pm on September 16. The Council for Electronic Media is to elect BNR’s new Director General on October 27.
On August 4, the Council for Electronic Media accepted the resignation of the BNR’s previous Director General Andon Baltakov. Milen Mitev was appointed acting Director General of the BNR. By law, a new General Director of the Bulgarian National Radio must be elected within three months.
