Rise in daytime temperatures expected on Sunday

Sunny weather is in the forecast for Sunday, August 15. Light to moderate easterly and northeasterly winds are expected. Maximum temperatures will fluctuate between 31°C and 36°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, the weather will be sunny. Light to moderate easterly and northeasterly winds are expected. The maximum temperatures will reach 27°C-30°C. The seawater temperature will be 26°C-27°C. Sea state 1-2.

It will be mostly sunny over the mountains. Moderate northeasterly winds are expected. The maximum temperature at 1,200 meters will be around 25°C, at 2,000 meters- around 18°C.

In the beginning of the new week, it will be mostly sunny. Clouds will form over the western mountain regions on Tuesday afternoon where occasional showers are possible. Light southerly and southeasterly winds are expected there. The maximum temperatures will rise to 34°C-39°C, along the Black Sea coast- 26°C-30°.

The weather will cool down on Wednesday. Cumulonimbus clouds will form over Central and Western Bulgaria. Occasional showers, thunderstorms and hailstorms are possible. The weather in the eastern parts of the country will remain sunny and warm.
