240 amateurs from Pernik, Kyustendil, Blagoevgrad and Sofia districts participated at the second edition of the folklore festival "From the Furrow to the Table" which takes place in the village of Peshtera, Zemen Municipality. They presented traditional harvest songs, tales and rituals related to field work and kneaded ritual breads.
The event aims to find, preserve and promote the harvesting traditions and the preparation of bread. It also aims to present these traditions to the young generation in an authentic way, the organizers of the festival note.
