Percentage of positive daily Covid-19 tests remains unchanged

272 coronavirus cases were registered in Bulgaria in the past day after 6,358 tests, data of the Single Coronovarus Information Portal shows.

4.5% of the tests returned positive result. The highest number of newly infected was registered in Sofia - 83, in Burgas – 33, and in Varna - 29. There are 1,548 patients in hospital as 141 of them are in intensive care wards. Five people passed away and 178 recovered. Currently there are 14,734 active coronavirus cases in Bulgaria.

Yesterday, 2,186 coronavirus vaccines were administered in this country, bringing the total to more than 2.1 million. 1,073,188 people have already been immunized with both doses.
