BSP leader Korneliya Ninova has announced that Maya Manolova of "Stand Up BG! We Are Coming" proposed that the parties of the protests and BSP should meet to decide which party to receive the third-cabinet forming mandate by President Rumen Radev and work on the priorities of the future government. Ninova rejected the proposal, declaring: "The parties cannot make such a decision. It is only within the powers of the president."
Ninova said that if the BSP did not receive the mandate, the Socialists were ready for additional talks with the trusted political force. According to her, however, at the moment the most important issues was not the formation of a government, but updating the budget.
Manolova has called on President Radev to initiate political talks before handing the third term, after ITN and BSP refused preliminary talks.
