Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Korneliya Ninova stated she hoped that “Democratic Bulgaria” will accept the BSP’s invitation today for talks on the exploratory mandate for forming a government the socialists was handed by President Rumen Radev.

After Sunday’s meeting between the BSP and the coalition “Stand Up, BG! We Are Coming!”, it became clear that the chances of forming a government are negligible. Nevertheless, the BSP stated that the invitations for talks extended to “Democratic Bulgaria” and ITN (“There Is Such a People”) still stand. The Bulgarian Socialist Party is scheduled to meet with ITN on Wednesday.

The BSP promised to hold a series of meetings with civil organizations, professional unions, employers and TUs.
