Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev announced that he would seek a "rational solution" for the date of dissolution of the National Assembly and the scheduling of the Parliamentary elections. I have stated repeatedly that holding Parliamentary and Presidential elections on the same date contradicts the spirit of our constitutional model and the differentiation of responsibilities of the institutions. However, we should take into account the fact that the crisis is deepening”, this country’s head of state commented during his visit to the Military Medical Academy, where a training center was unveiled.

President Radev did not specify when he would dissolve the 46th National Assembly and noted that the amendment of the state budget was on the agenda. "I am not thinking about the composition of the next caretaker cabinet, because the current one still has work to do", said President Radev.
