Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Monday, September 6

Cooler weather expected in Bulgaria on Unification Day

Clear skies are in the weather forecast for most of Bulgaria on Sunday night. Clouds will form over the southeastern parts of the country where occasional showers are possible. Light winds are also in tomorrow’s forecast. Moderate easterly and northeasterly winds are expected in the Danubian Plain and Eastern Bulgaria. Clouds will be variable on Unification Day. Occasional showers are expected in the southwestern part of the country in the afternoon hours.  Daytime temperatures will drop and the maximum temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Along the Southern Black Sea coast, the weather will be cloudy in the morning hours. Sunny weather is expected along the Northern seacoast. Clouds will form in the afternoon hours, but the chance of precipitation is low. The maximum temperatures will range from 21 to 24 degrees Celsius. The seawater temperature will be around 24-25 degrees Celsius. Sea state 3-4.

Over the mountains, the weather will be predominantly sunny before noon. Overcast clouds are in the forecast for the mountain regions in Western Bulgaria and the Rhodopes in the afternoon hours. Occasional showers are expected as well. The maximum temperature at 1,200 meters will be around 15 degrees Celsius, at 2,000 meters- around 8 degrees.
