Petar Iliev, who has been nominated for deputy prime minister and interior minister in the second draft cabinet of ITN political party this summer, is threatened with dismissal from Sofia University, where he is a lecturer, for plagiarism. The Ethics Commission of Sofia University has established that in his book "The Competence of the National Assembly" Iliev used "significant parts of the work of another person" - the dissertation "Parliamentary Control" by Natalia Kiselova, without quoting the author," Free Europe reports.

According to the rules of the school, the established violation is a sufficient reason for Iliev to be fired.
Petar Iliev was also among the candidate ministers in the first draft cabinet of ITN party, which was withdrawn, where he was given the portfolio of the justice ministry
