"I am not a party member, but a judge and my mission is to serve the truth and justice," the official statement by the chair of the Supreme Court of Cassation, Lozan Panov, on the occasion of his candidacy for president, reads.

According to him, the leader of the judges should not stand idly by, while immature people extinguished the candles of justice one after another. Meanwhile, the co-chair of Democratic Bulgaria, Hristo Ivanov, told BNT that he welcomed the initiative to nominate Lozan Panov. Next week, the three formations in the union will decide whether to support it.
