The Ministry of Health would introduce a partial or full lockdown if the "green certificate" plan did not work as intended by the end of October. This was what caretaker Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Alexander Zlatanov has told Bulgaria ON AIR TV.
"In the next 10 days, we will closely monitor the pandemic situation and whether these measures work. If they did not show an effect, we would have only one option left - partial or complete lockdown," Zlatanov said. According to him, the "green certificate" is introduced now because in the summer the Ministry of Health did not know how the pandemic would develop and did not want to scare people.
