Electricity prices on many of Europe’s energy exchanges went up on Friday, in Bulgaria they rose by over 25%.

In the day-ahead market segment for Friday, only Greece, Italy, Hungary and Slovenia have higher prices. Just one day earlier – on Thursday, electricity in this country was traded at 185 euro (362.09 Leva).
Since the beginning of October the average price of electric energy in Bulgaria has been 190.30 euro (372.19 Leva) per MWh, and since the beginning of the year - 84.54 euro (163.35 Leva) per MWh, platform data show.
