Unloading operation of Vera Su continues

The unloading operation of the ship Vera Su which ran aground near Kamen Bryag has continued today. One more attempt is expected to be made to stabilize the ship.

The 600 cubic metres of the ship’s cargo remaining on board are to be trans-shipped. Scuba divers are to inspect the ship’s hull. It is, as yet, unclear what the intentions of the Turkish owner of the ship are, after he stated, a few days ago, that he cannot dispatch a salvage team, though he has not declare it a wreck, BNR-Varna reports.
