Start of Plovdiv Jazz Fest

The 7th edition of Plovdiv Jazz Fest is taking place as of today until 31 October.

Audiences will be able to enjoy the performances of musicians from Bulgaria and abroad including two Grammy award winners - Antonio Sanchez and Brad Mehldau. A lifetime achievement award will be bestowed on legendary radio host Toma Sprostranov, who hosted a music show on the BNR’s Horizont channel for nearly 50 years.

Admission to the Plovdiv Jazz Fest concerts will be with a digital Covid certificate for vaccination, recovery from coronavirus in the past year, negative rapid antigen test (48 hours before the start of the event), or PCR test (72 hours before the start of the event). The organizers will provide antigen testing on the spot at half-price, which take 20 minutes.
