Parents and teachers, who do not agree with the proposed regular testing of children for Covid-19 as a condition to return to the classrooms and study in person, have gone out on protest in Sofia. Protesters say the tests are unreliable and will not stop the pandemic.

"I don't understand what they are protesting about," commented Education Minister Nikolay Denkov.

He said there was a choice - either for the children to be tested and enter school, or not to be tested and continue their education in an e-learning environment.
