Anton Kutev has resigned as a spokesman for the caretaker government. He announced the news himself through his Facebook account. He said he had done so "driven by his unwillingness to involve the caretaker government in unnecessary tension".

Yesterday, through the social network, Kutev called for the resignation of Korneliya Ninova from the leadership position in BSP. Ninova later did so, commenting: "It is an absolute surprise that the cabinet demanded my resignation through its spokesman Anton Kutev." Kutev explained that he had made his request as a member of the BSP.
