Bus crash on Struma motorway: Medical examiners from Skopje join expert team in Sofia

Three medical examiners from the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Skopje have joined the expert team in Sofia for the autopsy and identification of the bodies of the citizens of North Macedonia killed in the road accident on Struma motorway, Bujar Osmani, Foreign Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia has announced.

All seven people injured in the crash are in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries, according to information from Pirogov emergency hospital. Two of the patients are to undergo additional surgery – one has had surgery of her left knee and will now undergo surgery of her right knee, the other patient suffered considerable burns. Psychologists are continuing their work with the survivors.
