Caretaker cabinet approves financial stimulus for businesses, frontline workers

Bulgaria's caretaker government has provided an additional BGN 61 million (EUR 31 million) to the Ministry of Health to continue paying bonuses of BGN 1,000 (EUR 511) to medical and non-medical personnel on the front lines in the fight against Covid-19.

The cabinet also allocated BGN 100 million /over EUR 50 million/ to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy under the employment measure for compensations to employees and self-insured persons from closed businesses.
