Bulgaria’s Rositsa Dencheva reaches quarterfinals in tennis championship in Florida

Bulgaria’s young tennis player Rositsa Dencheva has qualified for the singles and doubles quarterfinals of the Eddie Herr international junior championship in Florida, USA in the 12-18 age bracket.  

Dencheva is No. 1 in the 14-year olds, winning 6-4,6-1 versus Amy Lee, USA. This is the third consecutive win for Rositsa without losing a set. For a place in the semifinals Rositsa Dencheva will be playing versus Tahlia Kokkinis, Australia. The Bulgarian player also qualified for the doubles quarterfinals with Jo-Leen Saw, Malaysia after winning by 6-1, 4-6, 10-7 versus Alessia Franco and Marcella Roversi, USA.
