"One-third of the parents who received Covid-19 jabs are expected to get their children vacinated", Professor Ilko Getov, Bulgarian representative at the European Medicines Agency, said for the BNT. The first shipment of Covid-19 vaccines for children aged between 5 and 11 will be delivered to Bulgaria today.

"Vaccination will begin as soon as Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health publishes the protocol for this vaccine. Vaccination will take place in the presence of a pediatrician. New guidelines for pregnant women, breastfeeding women and women who are planning to become pregnant will be announced", said Ilko Getov. "Data has not shown any safety concerns," Professor Ilko Getov added.
