President Radev convenes Consultative Council on National Security over North Macedonia

Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev told the media that he would convene the Consultative Council on National Security over the Republic of North Macedonia in the first half of January. 

"We need to speed up the process of European integration of North Macedonia, meanwhile respecting the national interest", Bulgaria’s head of state Radev said. Rumen Radev stressed that the issue regarding the inclusion of Macedonian Bulgarians in the social, political and cultural life of North Macedonia is extremely important for Bulgaria. President Radev recalled that he had repeatedly called for an end to hate speech.
