157 coronavirus-related deaths registered in past day

2001 new Covid cases were registered in Bulgaria in the past day. 80% of them were among the non-vaccinated. 5.5% of 36,702 tests returned positive result, according to the portal coronavirus.bg. The level on Monday was 3 per cent.

The number of registered patients is 95,827. The number of new hospital admissions reached 630 as 87% of them were among non-vaccinated citizens. There are a total of 4,452 patients in hospitals as 506 people are in intensive care.

According to statistic data, 157 people with Covid lost their lives in the past 24 hours. 148 of them were non-vaccinated. A week earlier, the death toll was 152. A total of 2,025 recoveries were reported in the past day.

15,025 vaccines were administered on Monday. 1,877,872 people have already completed the immunization cycle. There are now 226,043 people with a third booster dose.
