Weather forecast for Bulgaria for Friday, December 24

Temperatures are expected to increase on December 24

There will be significant clouds over the country on Thursday night. Light to moderate southerly and southwesterly winds are expected. The minimum temperatures will fluctuate between minus 7°C and minus 2°C, for Sofia minus 5°C.

There will be significant clouds in the morning hours of December 24. Clouds will break in the afternoon. Moderate winds are expected. Strong southwesterly winds are expected north of the mountains. It will get warmer and the maximum temperatures will range from 5°C and 10°C, in some parts of Northern Bulgaria up to 13°C, for Sofia 7°C.

Sunny weather is in the forecast for the mountain areas. Moderate and strong northwesterly winds are expected. The minimum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 5°C, at 2,000 meters- around minus 2°C.

Scattered clouds are in the forecast for Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. Moderate southwesterly winds are also expected. The maximum temperatures along the seacoast will fluctuate between 6°C and 8°C.
