Prime Minister Kiril Petkov delivered a New Year’s address, in which he called on Bulgarians to work for a better Bulgaria together.

He made the address on New Year’s night, in the company of 10-year old Danail Popzafirov, who is among the world’s chess elite. “I am very proud that Bulgaria has such talents,” Kiril Petkov said. “And in 2022 one of my goals will be to help people like him remain in the country, so they do not emigrate, so they can develop and bring glory to Bulgaria with their victories.”
