Number of new Covid cases continues to grow

There were 6,766 new coronavirus cases registered in Bulgaria in the past day. 72% of them are among the non-vaccinated citizens. 13% of 52,040 tests were positive, according to the portal coronavirus.bg. A day earlier the percentage was 14.6.

There are 117,409 registered active patients as 4,608 of them are in hospitals. 493 patients are in intensive care. There are 672 new patients in hospitals and over 85 percent of them are non-vaccinated.

66 people diagnosed with Covid died yesterday. 56 of them were non-immunized. The number of recoveries reached 758.

32,429 vaccines were administered on Wednesday. The number of citizens immunized with two doses has reached 1,927,428.
