Bansko is among the top winter holiday destinations for British tourists, the British Ambassador to Bulgaria Rob Dixon said. The diplomat met with representatives of Bansko Municipality, the Regional Police Directorate, health authorities, concessionaries and tour operators to discuss tourist safety and security and the current anti-epidemic measures.
The tour operators voiced hopes that within several days, this country’s Minister of Health would issue a decree to abolish the green certificate for children aged between 12 and 17. As a result, the number of holiday bookings from the United Kingdom will increase, tour operators further said.
