Protest before government meeting of Bulgaria and North Macedonia

The youth committee of the VMRO party organized a protest near the Boyana residence ahead of a joint meeting of the governments of Bulgaria and North Macedonia. In a letter, they want a meeting with Prime Ministers Kiril Petkov and Dimitar Kovacevski. "Cabinets are talking about airlines, not the real problems - the rights of Bulgarians in North Macedonia, the issues with our language, history and culture," Alexander Sidi has told bTV.

"We want to state the position of the VMRO and over 70% of Bulgarian citizens that there are Bulgarians living in North Macedonia whose rights are being violated on a daily basis," Sidi said. He added that the Bulgarian language and history cannot be stolen, BGNES reports.
