The anthology "River of Words", which includes texts from contemporary and classical Bulgarian literature translated into English, French and German, will be presented today, January 30, in Brussels. The compiler of the collection and its main translator is Desislava Tsvetkova, who lives in the Belgian capital city.
Bulgarian authors are almost non-existent in European bookstores, so Desislava Tsvetkova decided to present Bulgarian literature to the Old Continent. After two years of hard work, the collection was published in the summer of the past year and has already had its premiere in Sofia and Burgas. The main idea is to donate copies of the book to libraries and cultural centers in Brussels, Luxembourg, Paris, Berlin, London, The Hague.
"River of Words" will be presented in Brussels in the presence of the Bulgarian Ambassador Plamen Bonchev, poetess Maya Panayotova and writer Daniela Velikova.
