Mirela Demireva wins gold medal in high jump

Bulgaria’s Olympic medalist from Rio de Janeiro Mirela Demireva won a gold medal in the high jump at the international tournament in Udine, Italy.

The Bulgarian athlete cleared 190 cms in her first attempt, after which Mirela Demireva made three unsuccessful attempts at 197 cms. Ella Junnila, Finland came second with 188 cms. Ilya Ivanyuk of Russia won the men’s high jump with 229 cms.
