The ancient town of Plovdiv is one of the nominations in the 13th European Best Destinations for 2022 contest. It is the only Bulgarian town running in the contest, and faces tough competition from cities like London, Rome, Vienna, Istanbul, Prague and Athens.

European Best Destinations features towns with a rich historical and cultural heritage which are sustainable tourism destinations with a good quality of life.

You can support the oldest living town in Europe as your favourite destination until 10 February HERE.
