Former executive director of the state-owned Bulgargaz company, Nikolay Pavlov, was summoned today for questioning by the Prosecutor's Office in connection with the gas price crisis. "I explained how the gas market is functioning. That is all", the former executive director of Bulgargaz said. "I have no concerns, because we are impeccable", Nikolay Pavlov further said.
In an interview with BNR on Sunday, February 6, Pavlov said that the actions of the new management of the gas company and the accusations against the dismissed directors aim to bring back intermediaries in gas supply contracts, which would ultimately raise the price of natural gas for business. Pavlov added that in this way Bulgargaz would be pushed out of the market.
