National Security Advisory Council discusses the threats to the national security of Bulgaria

Today, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev is to host the National Security Advisory Council to discuss topics related to security threats and the state of the Bulgarian Armed Forces amid the Ukrainian crisis. The National Security Advisory Council is themed “Risks and threats to the national security of the Republic of Bulgaria. State of the Armed Forces. Necessary Measures.”

"The biggest risk to Bulgaria’s security is in neglecting the problems of the army", the Bulgarian President said on Monday. Bulgaria’s head of state Radev also noted that negotiations and diplomacy are the only way out of the Ukrainian crisis.
