Bulgaria and Spain firmly hold the position that diplomatic efforts should be leading in resolving the crisis in Ukraine. This is what the Ministers of Defense of the two countries Stefan Yanev and Margarita Robles said during their visit to Graf Ignatievo Air Base. They met with Spanish and Bulgarian servicemen, who have been part of the taskforce for joint guarding of Bulgarian airspace since last week.
When asked by journalists about the events related the crisis with Ukraine and the measures taken by Bulgaria, Minister Yanev pointed out that the work on building the so-called battalion group, as well as work on more exercises and training continued.
