Greece temporarily suspends the search for ferry fire survivors

The ferry, which caught fire in the Ionian Sea, will be towed from Corfu to another port for security reasons. 10 people, including 7 Bulgarians, are still missing from the ferry that went ablaze last week.

The operation is taking place although the relatives of the missing people called on the authorities to continue searching for their loved ones and not to waste valuable time. However, Greece decided to relocate the ferry to prevent the vessel from sinking, the correspondent of the BNR in Greece Katya Peeva reported. Thus, the search for the missing people will be suspended for about 30 hours.
