Weather forecast for Sunday, 27 February: Snow in the forecast

During the night the clouds will increase from the West and by morning will cover the entire territory of the country, though there will be no precipitation. There will be a light to moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Minimum temperatures zero и 5° C., for Sofia around zero.

Tomorrow, 27 February the Northeasterly wind will pick up to become moderate, in the Eastern parts to strong, and will usher in colder air. It will be cloudy. It will start to rain from the Southwest, as temperatures drop the rain will turn to snow. By evening there will be snow in the Northeastern parts of the country as well, significant in the region of Rila and the Rhodopes. Daytime temperatures will reach 2°-3° C., on higher ground in Western Bulgaria and 8° C. in the Southeastern regions.

On Sunday night the precipitation in the country will continue, mostly there will be snow, more significant in Eastern Bulgaria and the Eastern Rhodopes, where there will be a moderate to strong wind from the North-northwest, blizzards and snowdrifts.
