“We shall endorse additional funding for the purchase of grain so as to provide for the food supply of Bulgaria until 2023,” Prime Minister Kiril Petkov said before the start of today’s cabinet sitting.

The government will approve the European temporary protection directive which will allow for a temporary status and protection of Ukrainian refugees in the country.

“Twenty euros a day will be approved for every Ukrainian seeking protection in Bulgaria,” Kiril Petkov added.

The opposition party GERB submitted a bill to parliament on introducing a card for Bulgarians from the diaspora enabling them to enter the country and entitling them to a number or rights without having Bulgarian citizenship.
