Nearly 10% of daily Covid-19 tests return positive result

There were 1,601 new Covid-19 cases registered in the past day. According to official data, 9.93% of 16,113 tests returned positive result. There are 2,169 hospitalized patients, as 260 of them are in intensive care. 195 were admitted to hospital yesterday, as 81.03% of them were non-vaccinated citizens. 18 people died in the past day and 1,625 patients recovered.

Most of the new cases were registered in Sofia - 449, Varna - 187 and Plovdiv - 133

The number of administered vaccines in the past day reached 2,124. There are already 2,056,588 people with a completed vaccination cycle in Bulgaria and 710,144 with three doses.
