Prime Minister Kiril Petkov assured the representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission that Bulgaria would do its outmost, via legislative amendments, to ensure that the European Public Prosecutor's Office functions smoothly on Bulgarian territory. This was announced by the Head of the Prime Minister’s Political Cabinet Lena Borislavova after the meeting between Kiril Petkov and representatives of the European Parliament and the European Commission.

Premier Petkov did not talk to reporters to tell details about his meeting with Monika Hohlmeier and Jeroen Lenaers, MPEs from the European People’s Party.
