Sofia City Prosecutor's office wants to question Vassil Bojkov from Dubai

The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has expressed its intention to question Vassil Bojkov as a witness via videoconference from Dubai. It will send a request for judicial cooperation to the United Arab Emirates.

The questioning is in connection with the investigation into former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, his public relations officer Sevdelina Arnaudova and former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov following a tip-off by Bojkov that he had been blackmailed by Borissov and Goranov. Bojkov alleged that from 2017 to 2019 he handed over more than 60 million levs to Vladislav Goranov and Boyko Borissov through Sevdelina Arnaudova.

Fugitive gambling tycoon Vassil Bojkov, who is allegedly in Dubai, has been charged with 19 felonies.
